Buyer

Our client, a global ecommerce platform is looking for a Buyer to assist the Buying Team in expanding selection by setting up new vendors and items, maintaining the product catalog and managing pricing. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact between program teams, deployment/engineering, and suppliers.

This is a temporary 3 month opportunity with the potential to extend.

Pay: $26-29/hr

What you'd be doing:
• Manage end-to-end procurement for multiple concurrent programs
• Identify and proactively escalate delivery/supply risks to internal engineering and deployment teams
• Issue POs and keep them aligned with site deployment schedules
• Tracking supplier deliveries and flagging risks before they become problems
• Set up new vendors/items and maintain the product catalog (pricing, cost, content, images)
• Cross-training as backup to a Control Buyer

‍What makes someone a fit:
• Previous experience in a corporate/ procurement desk role
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated
• Strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills (Access or database experience is a plus)
• Comfortable in a fast-paced team supporting 60–70 programs at once
• Enjoys a mix of independent work and cross-functional collaboration
