Executive Assistant to Private Family Office Principal
Our client, a well-established private family office is seeking a polished, highly discreet Executive Personal Assistant to support its principal directly. This is a rare opportunity to step into a true right-hand role for someone who has built a warm, respectful, boutique culture.
You'll be the central hub connecting a small, close-knit team (family office staff, a second assistant, property management, IT, finance, and legal) - managing the principal's calendar, communications, and day-to-day personal and professional logistics with a birds-eye view of everything in motion.
Location: Midtown East, Manhattan
Schedule: Hybrid (in-office Mon–Thu, remote Fridays)
This is a high-touch but well-managed role — not a true 24/7 grind, just someone who's consistently on top of the details and communicates proactively.
Compensation based upon experience: $150K–$250K base range + discretionary bonus, fully company-paid medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, 3 weeks PTO + sick time, free lunch in-office
What you'll do:
• Own the principal's daily Outlook calendar, schedule, and reminders; keep him on time and prepared
• Coordinate closely with his driver and household/travel logistics, including private aviation
• Manage correspondence, inbox, and phone communications; draft and edit emails
• Handle scheduling for medical appointments, reservations, and personal errands
• Work closely to build relationships with family members, professional stakeholders, etc.
• Conduct light research and prepare materials as needed
• Serve as a trusted liaison across the office's internal functions
What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree required
• 8–12+ years supporting a HNWI, high-level executive or principal (industry background open)
• Discreet, loyal, and trustworthy above all else
• Confident, succinct communicator with strong common sense
• Fast, adaptable learner who can figure things out independently
• Highly organized multi-tasker with sharp attention to detail
• Tech-savvy (MS Office/Outlook, Zoom, Bloomberg Terminal familiarity a plus, Expensify, AI tools)
• Warm, positive, team-first attitude — no task too small
• Comfortable around office pups!
