Administrative Director/Administrative Manager
A growing 30-person government contracting firm in Arlington, VA is seeking an Administrative Manager to serve as the operational backbone of the organization. This is a highly cross-functional role for a candidate who can act as the connective tissue across departments, ideally with a recruiting or talent acquisition background, and who is well-suited to variety and high-visibility project work.

In office hours are flexible and open to Mon-Friday or Mon- Thur onsite/ Friday's remote
Key Responsibilities
• Lead new hire onboarding and serve as the primary point of contact for incoming employees
• Serve as liaison with external recruiting and staffing agencies on open requisitions
• Manage the firm's LinkedIn Recruiter profile and support candidate sourcing efforts
• Prepare and format resumes of key personnel to meet government proposal standards
• Manage the drafting, tracking, and collection of Letters of Intent (LOIs) for the proposal department
• Serve as a cross-departmental liaison to ensure alignment and clear communication
• Directly manage the Office Manager and oversee day-to-day office operations
• Lead ad hoc projects that support the firm's continued growth
Qualifications
• 5+ years of progressive administrative, operations, or office management experience
• Recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR-adjacent experience strongly preferred
• Government contracting industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong written communication skills and experience preparing polished, professional documents
• High degree of discretion and professionalism; comfortable representing the firm with candidates, vendors, and staff at all levels
• Prior experience managing or mentoring direct reports
