PLM Architect
Our client, an elevated childrenswear apparel manufacturer is seeking a PLM Architect to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end PLM implementations, from discovery and system configuration through data migration, go-live, and post-launch optimization.
- Own PLM data architecture, workflows, and system functionality to support business needs across product development.
- Integrate PLM with downstream systems, including ERP, wholesale, logistics, and other business platforms.
- Establish and maintain data standards for product descriptions, nomenclature, colorways, specifications, tech packs, and related product information.
- Manage an internal issue and enhancement log, coordinating troubleshooting, system reconfigurations, and ongoing system improvements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external PLM partners.
- Train and support users across Design, Merchandising, Production, Sales, and other cross-functional teams.
- Act as the day-to-day system owner and internal escalation point for PLM-related questions and issues.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvements and develop a roadmap for future enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Experience owning at least 2 full-cycle PLM implementations, including discovery, configuration, data migration, integrations, training, and go-live.
- Experience working with PLM platforms
- Background in apparel, accessories, hard goods, or another product-focused industry with an understanding of product development from concept through
- production.
- Strong understanding of systems integration and experience mapping data flows between PLM, ERP, and related platforms.
- Knowledge of product data architecture, workflows, and data governance.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into practical business solutions.
- Excellent project management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $100,000k-$115,000k commensurate with experience
Hybrid, 4 days on site
