Creative Resource Manager
A leading healthcare advertising agency is seeking a freelance Creative Resource Manager to support staffing, resource allocation, and capacity planning across its growing creative team.
This role requires previous agency resource management experience and the ability to work on-site in Toronto.
Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid, approximately 50% in office
What You’ll Do
- Manage resource allocation across creative, editorial, quality control, and development teams
- Coordinate staffing for copywriters, designers, art directors, medical editors, banner developers, and QA professionals
- Source freelance creative talent based on project and team needs
- Support workload forecasting and team-capacity planning
- Provide seamless coverage during Resource Manager absences
- Partner closely with department leads to ensure projects are appropriately staffed
Qualifications
- Previous resource management experience within an advertising or creative agency is required
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-management skills
- Ability to balance multiple staffing needs and shifting priorities
- Experience with resource or project management platforms; Smartsheet is preferred
- Healthcare or pharmaceutical advertising experience is a plus but not required
- Must be able to work on-site in Toronto a few days per week
