People Operations Manager

The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to become a foundational member of a high-impact People team at a company experiencing significant growth. Acting as a trusted partner across the entire employee lifecycle, you'll own critical People Operations functions including onboarding, benefits, immigration, compliance, and HR systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and wants their work to directly shape the employee experience at a world-class technology company.

Key Responsibilities
-Own end-to-end onboarding and create an exceptional new hire experience
-Manage and improve core People Operations processes across benefits, HRIS, compliance, and employee lifecycle events
-Coordinate international hiring, contractor management, and global employment operations
-Partner with immigration counsel to support visa and immigration processes
-Maintain accurate people data, reporting, and documentation across systems
-Build scalable workflows, trackers, playbooks, and operational infrastructure
-Support compliance initiatives including employment documentation, audits, and policy administration
-Partner with leadership on special projects that improve employee experience and organizational effectiveness
-Help coordinate team events, offsites, and culture-building initiatives
-Identify operational gaps and proactively implement solutions before they become problems

Ideal Background
-2–4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, Recruiting Operations, or startup operations
-Experience supporting a high-growth startup or scaling technology company
-Strong exposure to onboarding, benefits administration, HR systems, and employee operations
-Experience working across multiple entities, countries, or international employment programs is highly desirable
-Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
-Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects and operational workstreams
-Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building processes where none exist
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-High level of discretion when handling confidential employee information
