Packaging Designer
Our client, an elevated childrenswear apparel manufacturer is seeking a Packaging Designer to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and functional packaging and trim solutions across product categories.
- Create and prepare packaging and trim submissions for review and approval.
- Ensure designs align with overall brand direction and product requirements.
- Prepare production-ready artwork and technical files for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the development process.
- Review samples and final production to ensure designs meet quality and aesthetic standards.
- Maintain accurate packaging and trim information and production documentation.
- Translate product features and brand messaging into effective packaging designs.
- Support the development of private-label packaging and branding materials.
- Manage multiple projects and timelines from concept through production.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience.
- Strong understanding of packaging design and production processes.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Creative Suite programs.
- Experience preparing artwork and files for production.
- 3D design experience is a plus.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical design skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, color, and overall design quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Hybrid, 4 days on site
