Office Manager


Our client, a well-established boutique family office in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their close-knit office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the go-to person for keeping an office running smoothly while supporting a small, collaborative team. The environment is professional, low-ego, and offers exceptional stability, flexibility, and work-life balance.

The firm has a long-tenured team, and this position is available due to the retirement of the current Office Manager after eight successful years.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of a six-person office, ensuring everything runs efficiently and seamlessly.
• Manage office supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate building-related matters and serve as the primary liaison with property management.
• Process invoices and assist with bill payment and office expenses.
• Handle incoming mail, deliveries, and general office administration.
• Provide light executive support to the Chief Investment Officer, including calendar management, expense reporting, and occasional gatekeeping.
• Assist with basic technology troubleshooting and coordinate with external IT vendors when needed.
• Maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional office environment.
• Support ad hoc administrative projects as needed.

Qualifications
• Previous Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or Administrative Manager experience within a professional services, investment, financial services, or family office environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable interacting with vendors, building management, and external service providers.
• Resourceful, dependable, and proactive.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business technology.
