Store Manager

Our client, a leading boutique contemporary womenswear brand, is seeking a passionate store manager to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day retail store operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience and strong business performance.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a team of sales associates and keyholders.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative store culture.
  • Drive sales growth through clienteling, team development, and strong floor leadership.
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with customers, cultivating loyalty and repeat business.
  • Monitor store KPIs, analyze sales trends, and develop action plans to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and labor budgets to maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, cycle counts, and loss prevention initiatives.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently executed and maintained.
  • Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and operational excellence at all times.
  • Partner with marketing and leadership teams to support in-store events, activations, and community-building initiatives.
  • Handle customer concerns with professionalism and ensure resolutions align with company standards.
  • Prepare and communicate regular business updates, sales reports, and operational feedback to leadership.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of retail management experience, preferably within contemporary fashion, luxury, premium denim, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and achieving business goals in a retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, training, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Passion for fashion and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excelent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with clienteling and cultivating a loyal customer base.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience with POS systems, inventory management, and retail reporting tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.

Salary: $85,000-$110,000 commensurate with experience
