Head Designer

Our client, a leading elevated women's contemporary apparel brand, is seeking a Head Designer to join their growing team in NYC!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of seasonal product assortments in collaboration with the Creative Director.
  • Execute design work in alignment with brand direction and business objectives.
  • Manage timelines and ensure key project milestones are met.
  • Communicate effectively with internal partners.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
  • Maintain quality, consistency, and attention to detail across all product categories.
  • Contribute to process improvements and support additional design initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Apparel Design.
  • Strong understanding of the product design and development process from concept through production, particularly in elevated RTW environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business needs while maintaining a high standard of quality.

Full Time On Site

Salary: $130,000 to $150,000 commensurate with experience
