Marketing Specialist
A global leader in the food industry is seeking a creative and analytical Bilingual Marketing Specialist to join its Marketing team in San Francisco. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of brand strategy, foodservice marketing, and multicultural consumer engagement. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, data-driven, and fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) and English. This role supports both Foodservice and Ethnic marketing initiatives, partnering closely with sales teams, agencies, chefs, and external vendors to drive brand awareness and business growth across diverse markets.
What You’ll Do
• Support the planning and execution of national and regional foodservice events and trade shows
• Collaborate with sales teams and external agencies to develop and implement marketing campaigns and sales initiatives
• Analyze marketing and sales data, preparing reports and insights to support business decisions
• Develop product catalogs, sales sheets, launch materials, and marketing collateral for ethnic markets
• Design advertising creatives and digital content tailored to diverse customer segments
• Support partnership initiatives with vendors, agencies, and chef influencers
• Create and manage email marketing campaigns, including performance tracking and reporting
• Assist with website updates, digital content creation, and translation of materials from English to Chinese
• Conduct industry research and competitive analysis using AI-powered tools and platforms
• Collaborate cross-functionally with culinary teams to develop recipes, webinars, and engaging content
• Support lead generation and business development initiatives alongside the sales team
What We’re Looking For
• 3+ years of corporate marketing experience, preferably in food, consumer products, or related industries
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field
• Bilingual proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) and English, including reading and writing
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Hands-on experience with Canva; experience with Mailchimp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is highly preferred
• Strong creative writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to take on projects beyond core responsibilities
Role Details
• Full-time, direct-hire opportunity based in San Francisco
• Daily onsite work is required during the introductory period
• Hybrid flexibility (up to two days per week) may become available based on performance and company policy
• Collaborative marketing team with exposure to sales, culinary, and agency partners
