CAD Designer/Technical Designer

Our client, a children’s apparel and fashion retailer is seeking a CAD Designer / Technical Designer in the NYC area!

Responsibilities:

  • Create CAD artwork and technical sketches.
  • Prepare and update tech packs, garment specs, and construction details.
  • Support the translation of design concepts into production-ready documentation.
  • Maintain style information, product details, and development updates.
  • Communicate with overseas vendors and factories.
  • Review specifications, measurements, and design details.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on revisions, updates, and product changes.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with PLM or similar product management systems preferred.
  • Understanding of garment construction, fit, and production processes.
  • Experience within children’s apparel or related categories preferred.
  • Interest in long-term growth opportunities within a collaborative team environment.
