Healthcare Data Partnership Lead

Our client is a high-growth, well-funded AI company building critical infrastructure for the future of work. They partner with leading AI labs and enterprise organizations to deliver the human intelligence that powers modern AI systems.

As Healthcare Data Partnerships Lead, you will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of partnerships with organizations that hold valuable healthcare data. You’ll work across health systems, payers, EHR vendors, and life sciences companies, sourcing and closing complex data partnerships while building the processes and infrastructure needed to scale. This is a highly autonomous, externally-facing role ideal for someone who combines healthcare domain expertise with strong deal-making experience.

Key Responsibilities

Build & Scale the Partnerships Function
- Develop the strategy, pipeline, and playbooks for healthcare data partnerships
- Establish metrics to track success and drive continuous improvement
Source & Close Data Partnerships
- Identify and prioritize targets across providers, payers, EHR vendors, and life sciences
- Own the full lifecycle: outbound, pitch development, negotiation, and close
- Structure and execute data licensing and data-sharing agreements
Lead Deal Structuring & Compliance
- Negotiate pricing, access terms, and usage rights
- Navigate HIPAA, de-identification, and healthcare data standards (FHIR/HL7)
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure compliant and scalable integrations
Manage & Grow Relationships
- Build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders
- Drive renewals, expansions, and deeper data access over time
Market Strategy & Industry Presence
- Segment the market across provider, payer, BioPharma, and med device
- Represent the company at industry events and build relationships across the ecosystem

Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 3–7+ years in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales within healthcare or healthtech
- Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals, ideally involving data
Healthcare Data Expertise
- Strong understanding of the healthcare data landscape, including EHRs, claims, and registries
- Familiarity with organizations such as Epic Systems, Oracle Health, IQVIA, or Komodo Health
- Experience with data licensing, governance, or de-identification frameworks
Skills
- Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills
- Executive presence; comfortable engaging senior stakeholders
- Self-starter with a builder mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity
