Merchandiser

Our client, a trend-driven women’s and Juniors apparel company, is seeking a Merchandiser to support seasonal assortments and product execution in their NYC office!

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of seasonal assortments across multiple product categories
  • Analyze emerging trends and market direction to inform product strategy and design alignment
  • Partner with internal teams including design, production, and sales to bring product from concept through final delivery
  • Contribute to building cohesive line plans that support financial objectives and growth initiatives
  • Help guide color, print, and overall product direction in collaboration with design teams
  • Manage key milestones within the development calendar to ensure timely execution
  • Work closely with production on approvals related to materials, trims, and finished product
  • Maintain organization across multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the process
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, communication, and overall efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in merchandising or a related product-focused role
  • Background working within the Juniors market or similar customer segment
  • Strong eye for trend with the ability to translate ideas into commercially viable product
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop)

    $70k-100k depending on experience.



    Full time on site.
