Senior People Operations Generalist

Our client, an innovative Silicon Valley software company in the autonomous systems space, is seeking a Senior People Operations Generalist to join its growing team.

With a strong technical foundation and rapid growth trajectory, this organization is scaling quickly and investing in its People function to support a highly skilled, engineering-driven workforce. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited to help build and refine People Operations at scale.

The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role for a scrappy, detail-oriented operator who enjoys building structure in dynamic environments. You’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing People systems, reporting, and processes—while supporting broader team initiatives as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and enhance people data management, reporting, and analytics to support business decisions
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks for the People team and leadership
- Identify opportunities to streamline systems, workflows, and operational processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and internal policies
- Support the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of People systems
- Partner cross-functionally to improve data integrity and operational efficiency
- Provide support across a range of People initiatives and projects on an as-needed basis

Ideal Background
- 3–4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a related function
- Experience in high-growth environments, ideally spanning both early-stage startups and scaling tech companies
- Expertise in benefits, leave of absence admin
- Proven ability to build and improve processes in evolving organizations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in people data, reporting, and dashboards
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and taking ownership in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with Workday
