Investment Data Operations Associate

Asset management and holding company with approximately $70B in AUM is seeking a Data Operations Associate to support the accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of master data across investment platforms. This role will partner closely with Operations, Technology, and Investment teams to support data onboarding, reporting, integrations, and quality control initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and validate security master, issuer master, and reference data
  • Configure and support new funds, hierarchies, and portfolio records
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and quality issues
  • Perform controls and support critical data delivery workflows
  • Partner cross-functionally on onboarding activities, integrations, and migrations
  • Analyze large datasets and deliver reporting and data insights
  • Develop tools to classify, identify, and deduplicate master data elements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Organizational Sciences, or related field
  • 1–3+ years of experience in financial services, asset management, or data management
  • Experience with security master data required
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros)
  • Working knowledge of SQL preferred
  • Exposure to platforms such as Aladdin, Geneva, Sentry, or FIS is a plus
  • Familiarity with private loans, CLOs, private equity, or fixed income products preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Compensation: $120-150K base salary plus discretionary bonus and competitive benefits.
