General Manager

Our client, a curated retail marketplace, is seeking a General Manager to support and enhance the overall merchant and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Market & Operational Leadership

  • Support day-to-day operations across locations
  • Uphold a high-quality experience for both customers and partners
  • Monitor overall performance and identify opportunities to enhance operations and engagement
  • Oversee general upkeep, logistics, and operational standards

Merchant & Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain relationships with a diverse network of vendors and partners
  • Assist with onboarding, coordination, and ongoing support
  • Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day needs

People Leadership & Culture Building

  • Help recruit, train, and manage on-site teams
  • Foster a collaborative, service-oriented team environment
  • Support training and alignment around service expectations and operations
  • Encourage a positive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Ensure team alignment

Strategy, Analysis, & Brand Stewardship

  • Assist in improving processes, workflows, and operational standards
  • Use performance insights to help guide decisions and improvements
  • Ensure consistency in overall presentation and brand experience

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, retail, market management
  • Managed a multi-location/multi-vendor landscape
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a team-first mindset
  • Highly organized and adaptable
  • Analytical thinker with an interest in performance and business insights
  • Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and peak times

Salary: $80k-$100k
