HR Business Partner
Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is hiring for an HRBP to join a collaborative, growing team and serve as a partner across the organization.
This position will support managers and employees throughout the full employee lifecycle — spanning employee relations, performance management, LOA administration, onboarding, offboarding, policy guidance, engagement, and L&D. This is a generalist HRBP role with real scope and visibility in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
• At least 3 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 1 year in an HRBP capacity
• Prior HRBP experience in biotech, pharma, or life sciences strongly preferred; open to candidates with experience supporting field-based or remote employee populations
• Experience managing leave of absence requests is required
Hybrid schedule: Must be able to work on site Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, remote on Wednesdays and Fridays
Job Responsibilities include:
• Act as a strategic partner for managers and team members, providing daily guidance and coaching on HR-related topics and issues
• Administer Leave of Absence requests and serve as point of contact for LOA-related questions
• Facilitate and drive current HR processes within recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, policy and procedure development, employee engagement and career development, while continuously looking for ways to improve and optimize the employee experience
• Conduct meetings with assigned departments and managers to understand needs, concerns and feedback within individual teams
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to ensure consistent application of company policies
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations as needed
• Work closely with the HR team to develop and implement various HR programs and initiatives, including performance reviews, trainings, handbook review, benefits, surveys, employee events and L&D opportunities
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members and partner with the legal department as needed
