Product Development Assistant
Our client, a Juniors & Missy Sportswear company, is seeking an Product Development Assistant to join their team in New York!
Responsibilities:
- Manage production timelines and resolve purchase order issues with efficiency and accuracy.
- Excel in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
- Maintain active communication with vendors, including managing approvals, sample requests, order commitments, issuing POs, and confirming shipping schedules.
- Oversee the complete purchase order lifecycle, ensuring adherence to vendor requirements and company standards.
- Leverage strong organizational skills to monitor costs, margins, and inventory turnover.
- Track and update production and inventory spreadsheets, delivery schedules, and timelines.
- Coordinate with factories to secure tracking details, production samples, delivery updates, and bulk production status.
- Monitor in-progress deliveries and factory performance to ensure products are shipped on time.
- Verify the quality of fabrics, trims, and colors used in production.
- Participate in pre-production and top-of-production fittings to ensure accurate execution.
- Experience with EDI/AMT systems is a plus.

$55,000-$75,000 depending on experience
