Lainey Beres discovered recruiting after coming across an opportunity that combined her background with her interest in helping people build their careers. She was drawn to the fast-paced, people-focused environment and quickly found a passion for connecting with candidates and supporting clients.

She earned her degree in Media Studies with a minor in Creative Writing from UC Berkeley. Before joining CGC, Lainey gained experience through internships in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle PR.

Outside of work, Lainey enjoys tennis, pickleball, making matcha, swimming at the beach, and learning to play guitar..
