VP of Marketing

Our client, an international conglomerate in the music industry is in need of a VP of Marketing with strong label experience (major or respected indie) to drive global campaigns for a dynamic roster of international talent. The ideal candidate will bring their experience building impactful artist brands, leading high-performing teams, and know how to break artists in today’s fast-moving music landscape.

Must be able to work onsite in LA.
Salary: $200-250k


What You'll Do:
• Lead global marketing strategy across artist releases and brand initiatives
• Build and execute creative campaigns that drive fan engagement
• Manage and mentor the marketing team and external partners
• Work closely with A&R, creative, and artists on positioning and storytelling
• Leverage relationships with DSPs, press, influencers, and brand partners
• Oversee digital, social, and experiential marketing strategies
• Use data to guide decisions and measure success
• Manage budgets and resources across campaigns
• Represent the company at events, activations, and strategic sessions

What You Bring:
• Minimum 8+ years of music marketing experience (label experience strongly preferred)
• A proven track record of successful artist campaigns
• Experience with global marketing and international artists
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Creative thinking and deep understanding of music culture
• Strong network across DSPs, media, and digital platforms
• Familiarity with tools like Chartmetric, Meta Business Manager, YouTube Studio, etc.
• Passion for music and an entrepreneurial mindset
