Part-Time Office Manager

A boutique alternative asset management firm based in Midtown East, NYC is seeking a part-time Office Manager to oversee day-to-day office operations and provide administrative support to their team and founder. This role combines classic office management duties with some administrative and personal assistant responsibilities.

Location: Midtown East NYC
Schedule: Tues–Thurs onsite (with flexibility as needed)

Hours: Typical hours are 8:30-4:30 pm/9:00-5:00 pm with flexibility as needed
-Around a 24-hour work week

Salary is commensurate with experience: $39-40 hourly rate
-This role is not eligible for health benefits or PTO

Key Responsibilities
Office Management & Administration
• Serve as the go-to person for office operations, maintenance, supplies, and vendor relations
• Manage catering orders, maintain kitchen supplies, and ensure a polished office environment
• Handle international and domestic travel arrangements for team members
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and organizing presentations
• Maintain and update the firm’s Salesforce database and run reports
• Create and update marketing presentations in PowerPoint
• Manage spreadsheets and data in Excel
• Plan and organize conference participation, including scheduling one-on-one meetings
• Support founder’s scheduling and occasional personal assistant needs

Seeking
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 2+ years of experience in an office management or administrative role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Salesforce experience a plus
• Professional, mature, and calm under pressure
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
• A true team player who enjoys working in a small, dynamic environment
