Director of International Strategy
Our client, an entertainment giant, is in search for a Director of International Strategy to support global business initiatives across multiple regions. In this role, you will report to the SVP, Head of Strategy, and partner closely with senior leadership to lead high-impact strategy projects, market analysis, and executive-level reporting.
This is a 3-month TEMPORARY role.
Must be able to work FULLY ONSITE in Los Angeles
Pay: $126.74/hr
Key Responsibilities
• Lead strategy projects end-to-end, including defining the problem, structuring the approach, conducting analysis, and delivering clear, executive-ready recommendations
• Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, ensuring high-quality output under tight deadlines
• Respond to ad hoc requests from corporate teams (Finance, Strategy, Investor Relations, Communications) with structured, data-driven insights—often for earnings materials and board preparation
• Conduct in-depth market, industry, and competitor analysis across international regions; synthesize findings into actionable strategic recommendations
• Build business cases and financial models to evaluate new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives
• Support business development efforts, including commercial partnerships and expansion strategies, by developing frameworks and supporting materials
• Prepare high-impact presentations, briefing documents, and talking points for senior executives and board-level audiences
• Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Finance, and other business units to align on key initiatives
• Contribute to executive reporting by tracking performance, identifying trends, and highlighting strategic priorities
Required Qualifications
• At least 5-8+ years of relevant experience
• MBA from a top program
• Background in top-tier consulting and/or corporate strategy within media and entertainment
• Direct experience working with international markets
• Experience supporting senior executives (SVP/C-suite)
• Strong Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
