Senior Demand Planner

Our client, a leading global apparel organization with a strong wholesale and retail footprint, is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to drive forecasting, inventory strategy, and overall planning execution across key accounts. This individual will play a critical role in aligning supply with demand while supporting revenue and profitability goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage demand forecasts using historical data and trend analysis
  • Partner with account teams to support replenishment strategies and assortment planning
  • Monitor in-season performance and adjust forecasts based on business trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production, inventory, and sales plans
  • Oversee inventory planning and recommend purchase decisions to meet demand
  • Support financial planning through reporting, projections, and analysis
  • Evaluate stock levels and identify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency
  • Provide insights on product performance, inventory risks, and growth opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in planning, forecasting, or inventory management
  • Strong understanding of retail math and forecasting methodologies
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning systems is a plus
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into business decisions
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
