HR/Payroll Administrator

Our client, a highly regarded financial services organization, is seeking an HR/Payroll Administrator to lead payroll and benefits administration while acting as a trusted operational partner to senior leadership. This role is heavily payroll focused and ideal for a detail oriented professional who enjoys end to end ownership, process improvement, and providing dependable support to employees. In addition to payroll execution, this position supports core HR administration and light office operations. It’s well suited for someone who is proactive, polished, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast paced environment.



Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage full cycle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits inquiries, delivering responsive employee support
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and ongoing maintenance
• Partner with leadership to transition and optimize payroll responsibilities and workflows
• Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of payroll systems
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
• Support general HR administration, including onboarding coordination and documentation
• Assist with light office operations and help maintain an organized, welcoming office environment


Qualifications
• 3+ years of hands on payroll administration experience (preferred over general HR backgrounds)
• Proven ability to manage payroll independently and accurately
• Familiarity with payroll systems; implementation or migration experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of benefits administration
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem solving skills
• Professional discretion when handling confidential information
• Flexible, team oriented mindset with willingness to support beyond core responsibilities
