Human Resources Business Partner

Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)


Location: Sunnyvale, CA (5 days onsite)


Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 + equity



Our client, an innovative Silicon Valley software company, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support its rapidly growing, engineering-focused organization.

This is an opportunity to join a high-impact People team at a company operating at the forefront of complex, cutting-edge systems. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—someone who can partner effectively with leaders while also executing on core People initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

As an HRBP, you will play a key role in driving People programs and supporting leaders across the organization. You’ll own critical aspects of the employee lifecycle while helping to identify and implement initiatives that enhance performance, development, and overall team effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and teams to support and execute People strategies and initiatives
- Oversee and contribute to a range of People Operations and HR-related projects
- Own key components of the employee lifecycle, including performance management, development, and career progression
- Conduct regular check-ins with employees and managers to assess engagement, performance, and development needs
- Identify individual, team, and leadership development opportunities and recommend actionable solutions
- Support and facilitate People programs, ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and scalability
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing guidance on employee-related matters and best practices


Ideal Background
- 3–5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, with an additional 1–2 years in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role
- Hands-on experience supporting and executing People programs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong operational mindset with the ability to drive initiatives from concept through execution
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels
- Experience in high-growth or engineering-driven organizations is a strong plus
