Account Executive - Handbags

Our client, a handbag company, is looking for an Account Executive to join their team in NYC!

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
  • Analyze sales data and monitor market trends to uncover growth opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Manage order entry and processing while overseeing multiple accounts and timelines.
  • Support sales initiatives by contributing industry insights and assisting with product positioning.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials using tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • General understanding of sales cycles and interest in fashion or accessories preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior internship or work experience in sales, account management, or the fashion industry is a plus.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
