Private Chef

We have a private family seeking a new addition to their culinary team. This is a collaborative and dynamic private kitchen environment. Daily culinary responsibilities include special events, menu planning, home dining, meal preparation and maintaining elevated standards. The position is ideal for a talented and creative chef who enjoys both culinary execution and guest interaction, with experience in refined dining settings. The Chef will work closely with the internal team to deliver exceptional meals and hospitality for residents and guests across multiple locations in the Bay Area. Knowledge of high-quality ingredients and strong vendor relationships and flexibility to travel are critical to success in this role.

Skills & Experience
• Strong foundation in seasonal, farm-to-table cooking with an emphasis on California-inspired cuisine
• Experience preparing vegetarian dishes with a unique flair for global inspiration
• Comfort working directly with residents and guests in a hospitality-focused setting
• Ability to support private events and accommodate occasional extended hours as needed
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for basic communication and organization
• Background in both private household kitchens and restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Experience accommodating food allergies, dietary preferences and nutritional requirements
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to travel between properties
