Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-driven Senior Accountant to take ownership of core accounting functions and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work truly makes an impact.

Location: West Los Angeles (open to onsite or hybrid)

‍Key Responsibilities‍

  • Lead the full month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, including journal entries, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
  • Own end-to-end AP and AR functions, including invoice processing, vendor management, billing, collections, cash application, and DSO monitoring
  • Maintain and enforce U.S. GAAP compliance, including revenue recognition policies and technical accounting research for complex or non-routine transactions
  • Prepare and present monthly financial statements and management reporting packages for senior leadership
  • Lead external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules and direct coordination with external auditors
  • Implement and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and general ledger structure
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, production, legal, and business teams to support operational and financial initiatives‍

‍Requirements‍

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting and in-house accounting environments within Audit, Assurance, Staff, or Fund accountant roles
  • Highly proficient in accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, Intacct, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, waterfalls, lookups, etc.)
  • CPA Preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Deep working knowledge of U.S. GAAP applied across reporting and compliance functions
  • Self-starter with strong execution skills and meticulous attention to detail within a fast-paced environment
  • **Industry Experience within Private Equity, Entertainment, Manufacturing, Technology, Financial Services, Consumer Goods, Family Office, OR Real Estate
