Executive Assistant to President
A top-tier, mid-sized hedge fund is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a highly dynamic President in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. This is a unique opportunity to step into a well-established role supporting a senior leader.
Location: Midtown East, New York City
Schedule: In-office, 5 days/week (Monday–Friday)
Typical office hours are approximately 7:45 AM to 6:00/6:30 PM. While the role does not require constant weekend work, the ideal candidate maintains a responsive, “24/7 mindset” for urgent matters.
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: around $150,000 – $250,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Discretionary bonus

Role Overview
This role requires a highly proactive, detail-oriented Executive Assistant who thrives in a demanding, high-touch environment. The President operates at a rapid pace with constant calendar changes and high-volume communication, requiring exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a complex, high-volume, ever-changing calendar with precision and foresight
• Ensure the President is consistently prepared, on time, and optimized for all meetings
• Act as a strategic gatekeeper for internal and external scheduling requests
• Coordinate global travel arrangements and process expense reports
• Partner closely with a Personal Assistant on select personal matters
• Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems in real time
Qualifications
• 3+ years supporting C-suite executives (or 5+ years supporting senior leadership)
• Experience in financial services strongly preferred; hedge fund experience is a plus
• Proven track record managing complex scheduling for a high-demand executive
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required with relevant experience)
• Strong preference for candidates with in-office, high-touch support experience
