Maintenance & Estate Associate

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Estate Operations & Maintenance professional to support the day-to-day care and long-term upkeep of multiple private residences totaling approximately 60,000+ square feet. This role blends technical expertise, operational oversight, and a hospitality-driven approach to ensure that all properties are maintained to the highest standard.

Core Responsibilities:
Property & Systems Management
• Oversee daily maintenance and operational needs across multiple properties.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and infrastructure, identifying maintenance needs and potential issues.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs covering HVAC, plumbing, irrigation, electrical, lighting, AV, mechanical, and smart home systems.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on appliances, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, lighting, and other mechanical systems.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and small-scale renovation projects with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain organized storage areas, track inventory, and keep thorough operational records, including logs, manuals, as-builts, and checklists.
• Support management of integrated home technologies, including Savant, Crestron, and Lutron systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation to respond promptly and professionally to property needs.
• Travel between residences as required.
• Exercise cost-conscious decision-making when sourcing materials and engaging vendors.

Team & Leadership Development
• Provide guidance to maintenance staff on specific tasks under supervisory direction.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating vendors to support operational continuity.
• Participate in team meetings and reporting processes to strengthen leadership and operational skills.
• Foster a service-oriented, hospitality-minded approach aligned with estate standards.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in residential property maintenance, estate management, luxury hospitality, or a similar high-end environment.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Experience supporting preventative maintenance programs and coordinating vendors.
• Highly organized with strong documentation and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and maintain discretion.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Flexibility to support occasional after-hours needs.
• This is a live-off position
