Senior Interior Designer
Our client, an award-winning interior design studio is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join its San Francisco team. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with a strong background in high-end residential design. You’ll lead projects from concept through installation, collaborating with clients, architects, and internal teams to deliver exceptional, custom interiors.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead all phases of residential design projects from concept to installation
• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets with the Project Manager
• Communicate design vision to clients and internal teams
• Coordinate with vendors and manage custom furniture/product development
• Create drawings, plans, and renderings
• Prepare design documentation (specs, schedules, drawings)
• Attend client meetings and project installations
• Oversee and mentor junior designers
Requirements
• Minimum 10–12+ years of high-end residential design experience
• Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Experience with construction and renovation projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (SketchUp and other tools a plus)
• Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
• Knowledge of antiques, vintage sourcing, and design history
• Experience with Studio Designer software
