Localization Manager
Our client, a global entertainment company, is looking for a Localization Manager on a freelance basis, ASAP!
This candidate must speak German, Italian, or French as a 2nd language. Fully onsite in Miami or NYC!
Responsibilities
- Own the marketing localization pipeline, including localized graphic packages, subtitling, and dubbing of short form assets (trailers/promos), in over 5 languages.
- Manage the localization, adaptation, and delivery of logos and static assets, ensuring alignment
- Establish and own localization vendor relationships, including rates, workload estimates, internal review process, training and onboarding.
- Manage day-to-day localization vendors, monitoring technical quality standards and creative integrity on all project deliverables
- Be a technical liaison between internal creative, strategy, and operations teams, as well as localization, production, and tooling vendors.
- Develop and implement a roadmap to eliminate, simplify, or automate bottlenecks and ineffective elements of the current workflow in conjunction with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in localization of marketing materials for premium content and global brands, with an emphasis on localization of short form content at scale.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Must be based in New York, NY or Miami, FL. Experience working within an entertainment studio, post-production house, or creative content agency.
- Solid understanding of industry standard internationalization and localization best
