Production Manager - Home Products
Our client, an accessories company, is looking for a Production Manager for Home to join their team in NYC!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end production for home hard goods, overseeing development, sampling, costing, and bulk production from initial concept through delivery.
- Lead and mentor a production team, assigning priorities, tracking workflows, and ensuring timelines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Partner with overseas vendors and factories to manage production schedules, capacity, and on-time delivery while maintaining cost and margin targets.
- Monitor quality control, testing, and compliance requirements for hard goods, resolving production issues and driving continuous process improvement.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Design, Sourcing, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure smooth execution and clear communication throughout the production cycle.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of production experience within home products or hard goods manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing and developing a production team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of hard goods materials, construction, testing, and manufacturing processes.
- Mandarin language proficiency strongly preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally to Asia 3–4 times per year.
