New Business Lead

Our client,  a NY based branding and design agency for consumer and lifestyle brands (CPG) is looking for a New Business Lead to join their team.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for driving new business advertising across the agency, from prospecting through close, while collaborating closely with leadership, strategy, and creative teams.

You’ll help shape how the agency grows, not just how it sells.

Key Responsibilities
•    Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with mid-to-large brands
•    Own the full sales cycle, from outreach and discovery through proposal and close
•    Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
•    Lead new business conversations, pitch meetings, and presentations
•    Partner with internal creative and strategy teams to develop compelling proposals
•    Develop relationships with CMOs, brand leaders, and senior marketing decision-makers
•    Stay fluent in advertising, branding, digital, content, and integrated campaign offering
•    Represent the agency with confidence, credibility, and enthusiasm

What We’re Looking For
•    8–10+ years of experience in advertising sales, business development, or agency new business
•    Proven track record of closing new clients, not just “setting meetings”
•    Experience selling creative, branding, advertising, or integrated marketing services
•    Strong network within marketing, brand, or media communities is a plus
•    Comfortable speaking with senior-level executives and decision-makers
•    Strategic thinker who understands how agencies actually deliver work
•    Self-starter, organized, accountable, and driven
•    NYC-based or able to work regularly from our New York office

Compensation
 •   Competitive base salary plus commission/bonus structure
