Production Manager - Leading Fashion Brand

Our client, a popular fashion brand, is seeking a Production Manager to join their team on a temp basis, in Secaucus, NJ.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Production process from order placement through delivery
  • PO coordination with offshore offices related to PO revisions or updates
  • Work closely with suppliers on supply or delivery issues
  • Supports management on process flow and implementations
  • Answer daily e-mail communication with factories, timely and completely
  • Oversees the timely update of POs in the system. Enforces the practice of timely bookings by factories, and responsible for the approval of correct vessel schedules, in line with customer deliveries.
  • Assist in supporting special projects, when needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 5+ years of production experience in a related field
  • Experience in costing and garment manufacturing
  • Strong vendor negotiation and relationship building experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and PLM
