Temporary Recruiter
Our client, a tech company, is looking for a Temporary Recruiter to join their team! The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building scalable recruiting processes, and has a strong understanding of how to build high-performing teams.
This role will start asap and will last for 6-8 months, with potential to extend.
Hours: 9am – 5pm
*Fully Remote (East Coast preferred)
Responsibilities:
• Own the end-to-end recruitment process for both technical and non-technical roles, from job posting creation and candidate sourcing through screening, interview coordination, and offer close
• Partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to understand business objectives, workforce planning needs, and hiring priorities to attract and secure top talent
• Act as a strategic talent advisor to hiring managers by refining job descriptions, interview frameworks, and offer-closing strategies
• Design, improve, and scale recruiting processes that balance speed, quality, and a high-touch candidate experience
• Conduct thorough screening interviews to evaluate role-specific skills, experience, and cultural alignment
• Manage and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to monitor and report on key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, sourcing effectiveness, and candidate experience
• Utilize recruiting tools and channels including Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, networking events, and direct outreach to identify and engage high-caliber candidates
• Stay current on recruiting trends, market insights, and best practices to continuously enhance hiring outcomes
• Represent and champion company’s culture and values throughout every stage of the candidate journey
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition experience in startups
• Proven ability to hire technical and non-technical talent across multiple teams
• Experience building diverse, high-performing teams with inclusive hiring practices
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to advise senior leaders
• Able to manage multiple priorities and open roles in a fast-paced environment
• Data-driven recruiter who uses metrics to improve hiring outcomes
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building structure
