Operations Coordinator

Our client, a rapidly scaling AI company headquartered in San Francisco, is hiring their first dedicated Operations Coordinator to support a growing, campus-style office environment in San Francisco. This is a newly created, high-visibility role with meaningful ownership and long-term growth potential.

They are building technology that fundamentally changes how software is written and maintained, and they operate with a focused, execution-driven culture.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this role owns facilities and day-to-day office execution across multiple closely located offices. There is no established playbook; you will help the team build processes while keeping everything running smoothly.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with urgency, and takes full ownership of problems from start to finish. The schedule is onsite and requires flexibility, including occasional early mornings or weekends to meet vendors or resolve issues.

What You’ll Do
- Own facilities operations and maintenance requests across multiple office locations
- Manage building-specific operations channels and ensure fast, effective resolution of issues
- Coordinate and meet vendors onsite; source and manage vendor relationships as needed
- Identify problems before they escalate and take action without waiting for direction
- Act as a highly visible, approachable presence in the office
- Improve and scale facilities and office processes as the team grows

What We’re Looking For
- 1–2+ years of experience in office operations, reception, facilities, hospitality, or retail
- A strong problem-solver with a high-ownership, always-on mentality
- Comfortable with non-standard work hours when required
- Personable, professional, and trusted by a wide range of stakeholders
- Adaptable to a dynamic office environment with no assigned desk
- Degree preferred but not required

This role is best suited for someone who is driven, flexible, and willing to prioritize growth and impact in a demanding environment.

Why This Role Stands Out
- First-of-its-kind hire on the Operations team
- Direct exposure to leadership and a high concentration of former founders
- Exceptional visibility and networking opportunities
- Clear path to grow into broader Office Management or Operations responsibilities
- Opportunity to build foundational operations experience at a high-growth AI company

Compensation & Benefits: $80,000–$90,000 base salary plus equity
Comprehensive benefits and 401(k) matching
