Director of Ecommerce

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager to own and operate a high-touch, luxury e-commerce business. This role will manage the U.S. e-commerce site end-to-end, oversee creative production, and partner closely with internal teams and external agencies to drive performance, brand consistency, and an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the U.S. e-commerce website, serving as the primary point of contact for internal teams, creative and marketing agencies, and web developers
  • Lead and manage creative teams (photographers, models, copywriters) from planning through on-time delivery of high-quality assets
  • Oversee all day-to-day e-commerce operations on a Shopify Plus site, including product uploads, photography, merchandising, marketing, and asset and inventory planning
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute all site content updates, including product photography and descriptions, homepage and category creative, retailer and event information, and blog content
  • Review and edit all content published to the website to ensure accuracy, quality, and brand alignment
  • Produce monthly e-commerce photoshoots, managing logistics, product selection, model casting, styling, and final image selection and editing
  • Develop and lead a monthly marketing calendar, integrating sales, retail, and production data, and facilitate monthly planning meetings to review content and merchandising strategies
  • Produce and manage twice-weekly email marketing campaigns, including product selection, copy, layout, and design
  • Generate daily and monthly performance reports using Google Analytics and Shopify, analyzing KPIs to optimize site performance and sales
  • Partner with operations and client services to manage the end-to-end customer experience, including order processing, fulfillment, and customer service, ensuring professional and efficient execution
  • Collaborate with retail and merchandising teams to determine optimal product assortment and achieve sales goals
  • Work closely with social media, digital agencies, and copywriters to ensure consistent messaging and coordinated organic and paid marketing efforts across all channels

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of digital and e-commerce experience, including content management; fashion or luxury experience required
  • Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus), web development processes, and content management tools
  • Email and CRM experience, preferably with Klaviyo
  • Strong merchandising sensibility and creative eye
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office with strong Excel skills
