Receptionist

A wonderful Private Equity Firm with a great culture, focused in the consumer space, is hiring for a Receptionist to work closely with their administrative team and executives.

Salary commensurate with experience: $70-80k base range + OT eligible + discretionary bonus + excellent benefits, PTO, free lunch and gym onsite

Location: Monday – Friday onsite in gorgeous Midtown East, NYC offices

Hours: 8am- 5pm

Seeking:
• 1+ year of corporate front desk or hospitality experience in a professional environment
• BA/BS degree required
• Client-service focused mentality – someone hungry, low ego, and collaborative
• Tech Savvy – strong with MS Outlook and Word
• Professional verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:
• Answer the front desk phone and take messages
• Greet and welcome visitors and maintain online visitor log
• Assist with keeping conference rooms and general office space clean and tidy
• Submit work orders for trash collection with the building or any facilities issues
• Organize the reception area while complying with office procedures
• Keep a record of office supply inventory and expenses – fresh direct, stocking supplies on the other floor as well
• Sign for deliveries and ensure all mail and packages are distributed accordingly
• Work alongside/take direction from the EAs, when necessary, especially when setting up catering and setting up the kitchen, unpacking snacks, etc.
