Executive Personal Assistant to prominent NYC Philanthropist
Principal is a busy equestrian, art collector and philanthropist who needs a right hand with exceptional writing skills, poise, and discretion - She is lovely and deserves a dedicated right hand. Candidate will work out of her home - This is a job for a sophisticated, bookish perfectionist who has achieved longevity supporting a discerning principal.
The job is about 60% personal and 40% business, acting as the primary support - Ideal candidate will be an effective problem-solver, extremely organized, composed under pressure, and be able to handle all manner of requests and feedback in a calm, professional manner.
Key Responsibilities include:
-Calendar management for principal, including professional commitments (board meetings), personal appointments (medical, social, meal reservations, etc)
-Travel arrangements including flights, trains, cars and creating detailed travel itineraries in addition to updating the calendar with each travel arrangement
-Communicating between the principal and other staff, including driver, housekeeper, property manager and outside vendors as needed
-Purchasing items for household use, office use, and as advised by principals
-Research on all manner of topics, often needing to provide recommendations in addition to raw data
-Event management and production, from gathering contact information for the guest lists, to arranging staff, ordering supplies/rentals as needed, and coordinating all physical and logistical aspects to produce a successful event (Events range from social to political to philanthropical)
-Technical support of personal devices (iPhones, iPads, Mac computers) – there is more formal IT support but preliminary troubleshooting will be done by the person in this role
Compensation: $125k-150k + benefits
