Research Manager

Our client, a global entertainment company, is looking for a Research Manager on a freelance basis, ASAP!

This role is 5x onsite in NYC through October 2026

Responsibilities
- Manage, analyze, and report on consumer insights projects across streaming.
- Lead testing initiatives for priority original titles.
- Produce weekly reporting on awareness, attribution, and intent to view using syndicated data.
- Support ongoing tracker analysis and broader audience insights projects.
- Partner with internal teams and research vendors to design and deliver high-quality qualitative and quantitative studies.
- Contribute to best practices, tools, and systems that elevate insights across the organization.


Qualifications
-  5+ years of media research experience (streaming/TV/digital or research agency preferred).
- Strong primary research expertise and ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with mTab/SPSS a plus.
- Passion for media, streaming, and understanding consumer behavior.
