Sample Manager

Our client, a hard goods and accessories manufacturing brand, is seeking a Sample Manager to join their team in New York! The Sample Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of product samples within the office and showroom.

Key Responsibilities‍

• Receive, log, and barcode or tag all incoming samples from vendors or factories.
• Maintain accurate records of sample quantities, styles, collections, and status updates in company systems.
• Track all outgoing samples to sales reps, marketing teams, photoshoots, and external partners.
• Regularly audit sample inventory for accuracy, condition, and completeness.
• Work closely with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and Operations to fulfill sample requests.
• Communicate delays, shortages, or issues with samples to relevant teams.
• Maintain digital and physical logs of all samples and their locations.

Qualifications‍

• 2+ years experience in wholesale, retail, merchandising, operations, or showroom support (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with inventory tracking systems, Excel, or showroom management tools.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
• Ability to lift and move physical samples as needed.

$70k-90k commensurate of experience.
