Executive / Personal Assistant to UHNW Principal

An ultra-high net worth principal is seeking a seasoned Executive / Personal Assistant as a long-term right hand. This is a broad EA/PA role that touches business, personal life, and family logistics.

Hybrid

Compensation range commensurate with experience: $150,000 - $250,000 base + discretionary bonus + fully paid benefits


Responsibilities include:
- Manage a heavy and constantly shifting calendar, including business meetings, philanthropic commitments, social events, medical appointments, and family obligations.
- Join business and planning calls as needed with the principal, capture key points and action items, and drive follow up until items are fully closed.
- Draft and manage correspondence and written communication, ensuring tone, discretion, and professionalism in every interaction.
- Coordinate extensive high-end travel for the principal and her family, including frequent family vacations, and other domestic and international travel both private and commercial.
- Own logistics from end to end and build thoughtful itineraries for vacations and social trips.
- Make sure that rooms are set up when they arrive, for example having food or amenities in the room, and bring creativity to planning the best restaurants and experiences.
- Handle high volume restaurant and activity reservations in New York City and beyond. You should genuinely enjoy the NYC restaurant scene and know how to recommend places and secure bookings.
- Support planning and execution of social and family events, such as large reunions and other important gatherings, working with multiple parties and personalities.
- Work closely with staff at the residences.
- The household includes a dog, and there is a dog walker, but you must be comfortable around dogs and not allergic.

Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience supporting a high net worth individual, C level executive, principal, celebrity or similar profile, ideally across both business and personal domains.
- History of staying in roles for multiple years, with the ability to ramp quickly and take ownership.
Skills and Traits
- Extremely smart, fast thinking, and able to process large amounts of information while staying organized.
- Very high executive functioning, with the ability to keep many threads moving at once and to see around corners.
- Outstanding communicator who knows when to ask questions, clarify vague requests, and confirm expectations instead of guessing.
- Excellent writer, capable of handling email drafting and written communication in a polished, professional voice.
- Deep familiarity with New York City, especially the restaurant scene, and someone who enjoys making smart recommendations around dining, experiences, and activities.
- Sophisticated and creative around gift giving, able to come up with thoughtful, well matched gift ideas for different people in her life.
- Very flexible and adaptable, not easily rattled by shifting priorities or changes in schedule.
- Highly proactive rather than reactive, always looking ahead, spotting issues early, and proposing solutions.
- Strong people skills and emotional intelligence, able to read a room and manage many different personalities gracefully.
- High energy, friendly, and kind, representing the principal with warmth and professionalism in every interaction.
- Low ego and service minded, genuinely happy to handle tasks that range from complex logistics to straightforward scheduling.
