HR & GA Coordinator
Our client, a leading food and beverage company, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR & GA Coordinator to join their HR & General Affairs team. This full-time, direct-hire position supports both headquarters staff in San Francisco and branch staff, providing an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, service-oriented environment.
***This role is onsite during the six-month introductory period. Following this, a hybrid telecommuting option may be available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a safe and comfortable office environment, including management of the Safety Manual and Injury & Illness Prevention Program.
• Assist and coordinate company and office events and activities.
• Manage general office operations such as phone systems, offsite document storage, parking tickets, carpet cleaning, and special occasion donations/flowers.
• Coordinate holiday materials, including corporate calendars, holiday cards, and gift items, ensuring proper selection, ordering, and delivery.
• Handle invoices for office and company house expenses.
• Arrange and escort vendors for office equipment repairs and general maintenance.
• Provide backup support to the Office Services Coordinator, including equipment requests, mail/UPS handling, security access, and new hire workstation setup.
• Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, onboarding, and orientation of new employees.
• Maintain and file employee records, process service awards, and assist with terminations and background checks.
• Perform ad-hoc department tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
• 1–2+ years of relevant HR or office administration experience.
• Strong coordination, organization, and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and service orientation.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
Compensation:
• Salary: $50,000 – $70,000/year, depending on experience.
