ROTA Nanny
Our client, a family on the Westside of Los Angeles, is looking to hire a highly experienced Rotational Nanny to join their team and provide exceptional care for their toddler. This role alternates one week on / one week off and works alongside one other ROTA nanny.
The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of infant and toddler development, a calm and confident presence, and a genuine passion for creating enriching, structured, and nurturing daily experiences. They should be team-oriented, communicative, professional, and adaptable, with experience supporting children with allergies or sensitivities.
This is a collaborative, team-based environment working with a respectful and thoughtful family who values professionalism and expertise. Candidates must be pet-friendly, flexible, and travel-ready.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level, developmentally informed care for a toddler
- Alternate one-week-on/one-week-off with the existing ROTA nanny
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities and daily routines
- Support nutritional needs and maintain healthy habits
- Monitor allergies or sensitivities and ensure all safety protocols are followed
- Travel with the family domestically and internationally as needed
- Maintain open communication and collaborate with the household team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
- Degrees in other fields considered with relevant child development coursework
- Minimum 5+ years of professional nanny experience with infants and toddlers
- Experience supporting children with allergies or sensitivities
- Strong understanding of nutrition, healthy routines, and toddler development
- Excellent references demonstrating reliability and long-term placements
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and passport
- Ability to travel frequently
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Employment contingent upon background and credit checks
