Administrative Assistant

A prominent, fast-growing global private equity firm is seeking a proactive Administrative Assistant to serve as the operational anchor for its newly established New York City office. As the firm undergoes significant expansion, this ground-floor opportunity combines administrative support with office/receptionist responsibilities.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a boutique corporate environment, takes pride in high-touch hospitality, and seamlessly handles dual priorities in a professional office setting.

Location: Onsite 5 days/week in Midtown Manhattan, NYC
Standard hours 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Compensation: $75,000 – $100,000 base salary (DOE) + discretionary bonus potential (15%+ target) + 100% employer-paid family health/dental/vision benefits + 401(k) match

Key Responsibilities
• Provide calendar and schedule management for a few senior executives, assisting with domestic travel bookings and processing monthly expense reports via Concur.
• Serve as the welcoming face of the NYC office—greeting corporate guests, managing incoming calls, overseeing conference room setups/breakdowns, and catering orders.
• Maintain an impeccably organized office environment by stocking kitchen supplies, managing inventory, submitting building maintenance tickets, and partnering with external vendors.
• :Support talent acquisition initiatives with basic recruitment logistics, coordinate document printing/formatting for client deliverables, and tackle special administrative projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required (minimum 3.0 GPA; please include GPA on submission).
• 1 to 3+ years of corporate administrative/receptionist experience (financial services or professional services background is a plus).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and expense platforms like Concur.
• Outstanding verbal/written communication, pristine attention to detail, and a highly resourceful, independent work ethic.
• Articulate, poised, and polished, with a strong commitment to discretion, integrity, and proactive client service.
