Human Resources Manager

Our client, an apparel manufacturing company, is seeking an HR Manager to join their team in NY! Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end hiring: partner with leaders to define roles, post openings, review applicants, and coordinate interviews Maintain relationships with external recruiters and ensure a smooth, professional candidate experience Conduct reference checks and support final hiring decisions Lead onboarding for new hires from offer letters to first-day setup Guide employees on internal systems, policies, and procedures Serve as the main on-site HR contact for employee questions and workplace issues Collaborate with leadership on HR projects, engagement, and retention initiatives Assist with employee relations matters and policy updates Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate HR documentation Qualifications: 4+ years experience in HR within a small to mid-sized company Experience in apparel manufacturing and fashion is a plus Recruitment experience Knowledge of federal, New York state, and NYC employment laws and HR best practices Strong communication and organization skills Detail-oriented Ability to multitask and work in a fast-pace environment
