Supply Chain Manager - Packaging and Consumables

Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to oversee the procurement and supply of consumables and custom packaging for a nationwide network of printers. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be key in ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to balance demand, inventory, and cost. The ideal candidate will have experience managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, and ensuring contract and quality compliance. This is perfect for someone who is highly analytical, independent, and a strong communicator working with executive teams.

This is a temp-to-perm HYBRID opportunity in Irvine.

Pay: $45–60/hr

Responsibilities:
• Manage supply, demand, and inventory levels for consumables and packaging
• Coordinate timely delivery of materials to multiple locations
• Negotiate with domestic and international suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain safety stock and optimize inventory levels
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other teams
• Deliver executive-level updates and reporting
• Drive process improvements to boost efficiency

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5–8+ years in supply chain, procurement, or purchasing
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with consumables or packaging
• Supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CPSM)
• Strong experience in supplier negotiation and contract management
• Solid understanding of supply chain planning and inventory management
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP/supply chain tools
