Live-In Private Chef

Our client, an UHNW family is seeking a Live-In Private Chef in Port Washington, NY. The Private Chef is an essential member of the household team, responsible for providing high-quality daily meals and maintaining a seamless, organized kitchen environment. This role requires a polished, service-minded professional who can balance exceptional culinary execution with light household support. In addition to menu planning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation, this individual will assist with general household upkeep and may occasionally drive the Principals as needed. Discretion, flexibility, and a proactive attitude are key to success in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare fresh, health-conscious daily meals for the family, incorporating seasonal, locally sourced, and high-quality ingredients.
- Develop weekly menus in consultation with the Principals, reflecting family preferences, dietary needs, and nutritional goals.
- Handle all aspects of meal service, including setup, presentation, and cleanup, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
- Manage all grocery shopping, pantry organization, and ingredient sourcing, including specialty and gourmet items.
- Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and organization at all times.
- Perform light household maintenance and upkeep as requested, ensuring the home remains tidy and functional.
- Run errands, manage household inventory, and assist with specialty orders or deliveries as needed.
- Drive Principals to appointments or errands when requested, always ensuring safety, discretion, and punctuality.
- Provide warm, professional hospitality and guest care for visiting family and friends.
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the Principals with a flexible, can-do attitude.


QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly motivated, professional, discreet, and service-oriented with exceptional integrity.
- Positive and adaptable, able to balance multiple responsibilities.
- Prior experience cooking in UHNW households or private residences.
- Proven background in property care, or hospitality.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S., with valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Prior estate or private household experience is required.
- Tech-savvy: proficient with email, iPhone communications.
